In partnership with Investing in Women, the Young Creators were tasked with prompting the marketing and content creation industry to unstereotype gender roles in content creation.

In the VERY YOUNG CREATORS Division, Nikka Domingo and Queenievere Bool from Publicis JimenezBasic won the Gold metal with their Reels campaign for the Ayala Museum. The PJB duo will represent the Philippines at the MAD Stars New Stars 2025 Competition in Busan, South Korea.

Shiki Monta and Stephanie Cases from OLIVER bagged Silver, and Robin Estargo and Jayvery Lorenzana from NJYN won Bronze.

At the boot camp and competition briefing, the Very Young Creators were assigned briefs from different brands: Jollibee, Maggi, SunSilk, and Ayala Museum.

Jollibee tasked the young competitors to promote its Super Meals lineup, while Maggi challenged them to bring back the magic of Pinoy salo-salo this Christmas. SunSilk, on the other hand, wanted to encourage women to show their Gandang Lugay-Ready look to slay every moment. Lastly, the Ayala Foundation wanted to change everyone’s perspective about the Ayala Museum’s reputation as an elite cultural institution and make museum-going as part of the Filipino lifestyle.

Each brand awarded teams that best cracked their briefs.

These Special Awards go to:

• Jollibee Brand Pick: Rain Landingin and Patrise Calumpag, GIGIL, winning PHP50,000 worth of Jollibee Gift Certificates each.

• Maggi Brand Pick: Angelica Mae Dimples Calapati and Aaron Felix Quiambao from BRANDBOMB, winning PHP50,000 cash prize each.

• SunSilk Brand Pick: Robin Estargo and Jayvery Lorenzana from NJYN, getting PHP50,000 worth of Sunsilk products each.

• Ayala Foundation Brand Pick: Jamela Ariella Braganza and Airon Cruz, ODDEFY, who will be invited to an immersive journey to Ayala Foundation’s community in El Nido Palawan, with all-year-round access to Ayala Museum and Filipinas Heritage Library.

“This year’s DYC is our biggest yet and is definitely one for the books. We’ve brought together not just creatives but brands, media companies, content makers, tech platforms, and impact organizations, including three prestigious international award shows to celebrate the best of young Filipino talents,” said Raymund Sison, Founder and Creative Chief of Lennon Group and DMAP DYC 2024 Chairperson. “I am quite impressed with the ideas that made it to the very top. Huge congratulations to all the winning teams.”

The winning teams from PJB and Hakuhodo/BCI will both receive coaching sessions from the country’s top-listed creatives and innovators in the coming months.

The DMAP DYC 2024 is co-presented by Investing in Women, Ayala Foundation, and Meta. Sponsored by Jollibee, The Pod Network, Enchanted Kingdom, Emperador, Prodd, Oddefy, and in partnership with Mad Stars, Adfest, One Asia, and adobo Magazine.
