NEW YORK, USA — Publicis Communications Beijing has clinched the Best of Region – APAC award at the 2024 ONE Screen Short Film Festival for their moving short film, The Song of My Life, created for Huawei. The festival, organized by The One Club for Creativity, honors top-tier storytelling in both commercial advertising and the film industry on a global scale.
The runner-up for the APAC region was For Moments You Have to Get Right by OPPO Shenzhen for OPPO Reno11 Pro, showcasing the region’s continued dominance in cinematic storytelling.
Taking home the festival’s highest honor, Short Life Stories by Bensimon Byrne Toronto for White Ribbon won Best of Show and Best of Region: North America, along with multiple awards in categories including Best Casting, Best Cinematography, Best Editing, Best Fiction, and Best Music Composition—a testament to the film’s powerful storytelling and technical execution.
Toronto-based Klick Health also made an impact with five major wins, including three for 47 on behalf of Café Joyeux (Best Animation, Best Branded Entertainment Film, Best Production Design) and two for American Cancer Story for Change the Ref (Best Directing, Best Drama).
