SINGAPORE — Asia Pacific continues to brim with creative excellence, consistently thriving as the industry evolves, and the APAC Effie Awards returns to celebrate that. This year, the APAC Effies recognized the best marketing communications efforts in the region by awarding a total of 71 metals — one Grand Effie, 18 Golds, 28 Silvers, and 24 Bronzes — to this year’s slate of deserving winners.

Among the winning works are campaigns hailing from the Philippines created by agencies Gigil, Bates CHI&Partners Manila, and TBWA\Santiago Mangada Puno. These entries were among the ones that came out on top of the initial 111 finalists for embodying the best of what effective marketing and APAC creativity can be.

In the lead among the Filipino agencies is Gigil, which clinched second place for this year’s Independent Agency of the Year. The agency’s cheeky “Delivery Man” campaign for Grab, which was also chosen as a Short Video Marketing finalist, won a Silver for the New Product or Service – Line Extension category. Additionally, “Globe,” Gigil’s viral stunt for Netflix, bagged a Bronze under Carpe Diem – Services.
