2013 Mobile Festival to feature first local mobile marketing strategy tilt

MANILA – October 11, 2013 – Select students of the Mobile Marketing Academy will be facing off in "The Pitch," the first local mobile marketing strategy competition taking place at the 2013 Mobile Festival on November 25. 

Competitors will be divided into teams and will be given 24 hours to solve a real business challenge through mobile strategy.
 
The teams will then have the opportunity to present their ideas to a jury composed of advertising and marketing heads. Winners will receive over $2,000 worth of prizes, and the distinction of creating the next great mobile idea.
 
The festival will also feature "how to" and "top tips" sessions with mobile experts who will discuss the role of mobile in transforming aspects of business, including marketing, media, commerce, customer care, and even business models. Speakers include:

More speakers will be announced in the coming weeks.
 
"The Mobile Festival will showcase the best of mobile thinking and its transformative power," said Arthur Policarpio, Head of Mobext Asia-Pacific and Co-Chairman of the Mobile Festival.
