MANILA, APRIL 12, 2013 -Before the metals were awarded, 4As chair Matec Villanueva kicked off the ceremony with an announcement: 4As is set to stage the first ever Ad Summit Pilipinas on May 2014.
The summit will be organized by 4As. The Philippine Association of National Advertisers (PANA) and the Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster sa Pilipinas (KBP) have expressed their support for the event in initial discussions with 4As. Notably, these three organizations are currently not associated with the long-time umbrella organization AdBoard, KBP has left the organization in 2005 while PANA is on an indefinite leave since late last year and 4As, early this year.

“The 4As Philippines wishes to build on the tradition of celebrating the best in Philippine advertising and fuelling the discussion that drives our industry forward. The summit is expected to gather the sharpest, most creative minds in the advertising world to examine with delegates from all over the country the most relevant issues that shape our industry Ad Summit Pilipinas will be the venue to recognize the country’s most outstanding examples of creative work in the various marketing and advertising disciplines. And lastly, Ad Summit Pilipinas will be the new home of the Kidlat.
