HONG KONG – November 5, 2013 – Long distance relationships can be difficult to maintain, but not for the mother and daughter in TBWA\Hong Kong’s new spot for Standard Chartered Hong Kong’s "Breeze Banking" mobile banking platform.

The newly launched TVC is set to a telephone conversation between a mother in Hong Kong and a daughter in London who support each other financially and emotionally, even through the distance.

The emotional ad subtly highlights how Standard Chartered Hong Kong’s mobile banking service enables the two women to stay close.

“These days customers are looking for banking solutions that are user-friendly and truly sensitive to their fast pace of life,” said Esmond Mok, chief marketing officer, Consumer Banking, Standard Chartered Hong Kong.

“Our digital offerings are designed to be a thoughtful partner for our customers, helping to make all their banking needs easier to manage, wherever they go,” he said.

TBWA\Hong Kong managing director Joanne Lao added, “As a bank that’s ‘Here for good’, this spot demonstrates how Standard Chartered puts people at the heart of what it does, using technology to create services based on understanding people’s lives.”
