MANILA – November 14, 2013 – The 4As Philippines has just concluded its Bowlahan 2013 Tournament, with 11 ad agencies participating in the event spread across four weeks at the bowling alleys of Makati Cinema Square.

The agencies represented during the tournament were: Aspac Advertising, Campaigns & Grey, DDB Philippines, Dentsu Philippines, DM9JaymeSyfu, Havas Worldwide/Havas PR Agatep, JWT Manila, Ogilvy, OP Communications, Publicis JimenezBasic, and Workshop One.

The tournament began with Round #1 on October 8. "There was much trash talk, but even more cheers of encouragement and tons of laughter as players attempted to stay true to their oath of sportsmanship while knocking the pins out," 4As said

After weeks of elimination rounds, the four agencies with the highest scores qualified for the finals: Aspac Advertising (1961), Campaigns & Grey (2124), Havas Worldwide/HavasPR Agatep (1939), and DM9JaymeSyfu (1844).

During the final leg of the tournament scheduled last November 5, the remaining four teams slugged it out to determine the eventual winners:

CHAMPION: Aspac Advertising
1st RUNNER-UP: Havas Worldwide/Havas PR Agatep
2nd RUNNER-UP: Campaigns and Grey
3rd RUNNER-UP: DM9JaymeSyfu

Special prizes were also awarded to the players who accumulated the most points throughout the tourney:

FEMALE MVP: Liz Vicente of Aspac Advertising
MALE MVP: Julius Punzalan of Havas Worldwide/Havas PR Agatep

Bowlahan 2013 demonstrated how agencies can engage in fun and friendly competition outside the regular creative pitches in the industry.
