MANILA – JANUARY 13, 2014 – Food may taste better when shared between friends, except perhaps when the food is so good that one simply must have the last piece. In a funny Fita ad by Publicis JimenezBasic, two officemates play eenie meenie to determine who gets the last biscuit. However, one of them refuses to play by the rules.
Creative director Francis Inton shared, "This commercial has five more endings that didn’t get to air, but watch out for it on digital!"
Released last October, the TVC was centered on humor, which Inton noted has always been part of every Fita campaign. "When we present ideas to client, it’s like you’re telling them a good joke that you’ve been saving for the right time.
And who doesn’t like a good joke?" he said.
The playful element of a childhood game also added to the spot’s charm. "We think that great stories are stories that can be retold over and over again, just like the jokes from your childhood. It never fails to connect with the audience," Inton said.
