AXA emerges as top global insurance brand in Interbrand ranking

GLOBAL – October 7, 2013 – AXA has emerged as the top global insurance brand in Interbrand’s 100 Best Global Brands ranking, with their brand value up by five percent from last year.

Interbrand is a branding consultancy that specializes in brand services, analytics, engagement, strategy, and valuation. To generate the annual rankings, the firm calculated the value of a brand based on financial performance and its influence on the purchase of products and services.

According to Interbrand, AXA’s brand valuation and leading position reflect its improved customer experience, digital acumen, and corporate citizenship, most especially its brand engagement among employees and its employee social responsibility.

This is the fifth consecutive year that AXA was ranked highest among global insurance brands.
