BBDO Greater China hosts dinner to thank clients

SHANGHAI – November 20, 2013  – BBDO Greater China hosted a dinner event for over 20 top clients last November 14 at the Swatch Art Peace Hotel on The Bund at Shanghai. BBDO Worldwide president and CEO Andrew Robertson flew in to host the evening’s dinner and express thanks to the clients that have supported and grown with the agency.

Among the clients that attended were Mars Inc., Wrigley’s, Mercedes, Bayer, HP, FedEx, Yum!, P&G, VISA, J&J, Starbucks, GE, Exxon Mobil, SCJ, Tiffany & Co, PGI and PepsiCo.
 
Top leaders from BBDO global, regional and Greater China were also in attendance including Chris Thomas, chairman & CEO BBDO Asia, Middle East & Africa, chairman Proximity Worldwide; and Carol Potter, CEO and president, BBDO Greater China. 
 
 
During the event, the agency gave a preview of the latest findings from BBDO Voices, research periodically conducted on behalf of BBDO among consumers across China. According to a press release, "This year’s findings unveiled rich insights into what young Chinese really think, feel and care about and the hopes they have for the future."

BBDO said that 2013 was a milestone year for them. "The agency has won numerous awards including AME Network of the Year,  Campaign Agency of the Year and Grand Prix of China 4A. In addition, new clients have included OPPO, Skyworth, Continental, Bosch, Marvelon, Lascana, Corneliani, just to name a few," It said.
 
“We’ve had a tremendous year at BBDO in Greater China. We want to thank all of the clients that made our success possible. Without them we wouldn’t be able to deliver great creative work that shapes the market,” added Carol Potter.
