LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM, NOVEMBER 16, 2011: Philippine agencies bowed out of the London International awards with three metals, and three shortlist slots at hand. Leading the fray once more were BBDO Guerrero’s “Butcher”, “Carpenter”, and “Laundry” posters for Saridon. The campaign won one Bronze for Posters and a finalist slot in Print. The accompanying “Hammer” TVC also took home another Silver in the Film category.
Campaigns & Grey also played to its strengths. It won a Silver for Radio with its use of music for the Dulcolax “Louis” commercial.
Meanwhile, Ace Saatchi & Saatchi and DDB Philippines made it to the Radio and Design Finals. For Ace Saatchi & Saatchi, Toyota’s “Text ECG” once again did the trick. DDB Philippines, on the other hand, scored for use of illustration in its “Vase”, “Ball”, and “Bowl” ads for Monami ballpoint pens.
