MANILA – October 29, 2013 – BBDO Guerrero, Publicis Manila, and Dentsu are currently in a bid for the Filipino Image Campaign Series, a new project following the "It’s More Fun In the Philippines" branding campaign by the Department of Tourism (DOT).
The DOT confirmed this in a telephone interview with adobo.
According to a document on the DOT website, the Filipino Image Campaign Series is "a multi-year, integrated campaign propagating the image of the Filipino as having an excellent culture of tourism."
The document said that the campaign will commence in November 2013, and will continue up to 2016.
The current DOT campaign was created by BBDO Guerrero, which earned multiple awards for the campaign, including the Warc prize for Asian strategy, and a gold Spike for creative effectiveness.
