MANILA, PHILIPPINES, NOVEMBER 21, 2011: MyShelter Foundation’s Liter of Light initiative gears for a monumental turn as they invite bikers to deliver more than 10,000 bottles of light to Filipino homes across Metro Manila. Scheduled on November 30, 2011, hundreds of bikers are expected to help bring 10,000 solar bottle bulbs from Camp Aguinaldo to the historical Pinaglabanan Shrine, where they will be distributed amongst volunteers and installed in 30 communities.

A documentary regarding the event will also be shot on this day. Portions of the final cut will then be will be shown in Durban, South Africa on December 6, 2011 at the Climate Change Convention where Liter of Light is invited to speak in front of 500 world leaders.
Coinciding with The Bonifacio Day, the foundation invites bikers to join the crusade and etch yet another historical moment for the country’s urban poor communities. “This Bonifacio Day, commemorate history. Make history. Be a part of a new revolution,” urged Illac Diaz and other members of the MyShelter Foundation.
