GLOBAL – November 4, 2013 – What goes on in the bathroom usually stays in the bathroom, but not in a recent marketing stunt by Swedish furniture brand IKEA.

Living billboards turned into real bathrooms got commuters to slow down during rush hour at Saint Lazare train station in Paris.

"IKEA invents the first live bathroom. Find a new animation every day at 8:00 and 19:00 on the forecourt of the Gare Saint-Lazare," IKEA France said on Facebook.

Passersby gathered by the billboards, which were turned into three-dimensional bathrooms. Actors went about their business, brushing their teeth, drying their hair, putting on makeup, and getting dressed, as people snapped photos from below.

Above the bathroom billboards was the message, "At last a bathroom that rises above (the rest)."
