MANILA, JUNE 28, 2013 – As part of efforts to spread the latest innovations in printing technology, Canon Marketing Philippines launched the “Print Like a Pro” seminar series.

Meanwhile, the PIXMA MG5370 features a 3.0-inch LCD display and is capable of printing a 4×6” borderless photo in only 20 seconds. The PIXMA MG6270, for its part, is an all-in-one printer notable for its brilliant color reproduction features.

The PRO-1, PRO-10, and PRO-100 are part of Canon PIXMA’s professional A3+ inkjet printer series.

The PRO-1 boasts of a 12-tank individual ink system comprising six colored inks, five monochrome inks, and one Chroma Optimizer to smoothen out stray ink droplets; while the PRO-10 relies on a 10-color ink system to make dark colors denser and more solid. For glossy photos, the PIXMA PRO-100 uses an eight-color dye system for richer colors and reduced highlight grain.

With the PIXMA PROs, print speeds are further increased and ink tanks were made larger for longer print periods.  A dual feeding system supports both semi-gloss and fine art media and ensures that each paper is accurately fed, thus eliminating skewed prints.

Seminar participants can get a chance to try out the features of Canon PIXMA’s latest models; print their own photos; and learn practical printing tips and skills from renowned photographers and Canon PIXMA Brand Ambassadors: Jo Avila, Per-Andre Hoffmann and Jun Miranda.

“Essentially, we want photography enthusiasts and professionals to appreciate printing as the other side of photography,”explained Bong Serevo, VP and CSP division head. “You can do more with a high-quality image if you can also reproduce it into a high-quality printout. Whether you’re a graphic artist, a student, a professional or a hobbyist, there is much to gain from having a professional-grade printer.”
