SEOUL – October 8, 2013 – Cheil Worldwide hosts its 7th Digital Leaders Forum titled “Goodness in Digital Age” at the headquarters in Seoul on October 8. The forum consists of three sections. “Healing”, “Creative” and “Touching”.

"In this digital age, people often feel more stressed and depressed despite the material prosperity that they enjoy," Cheil Worldwide said, explaining that this is what the first part, “Goodness is healing”, aims to address. "It is about the digital age’s goodness which heals wounds and relieves pain."

The second part, “Goodness is creative”, deals with the way we deliver well-intended initiatives, such as most companies’ CSR initiatives, they continued. "It means we need creative approaches to deliver the right CSR programs, as opposed to simple fund-raising campaigns."

The third section, “Goodness is touching” is about a prerequisite for CSR activities."In order to run effective and efficient CSR campaigns, we need to tug at peoples’ heartstrings and make them share what they feel about those campaigns," they said.

The forum is in line with Cheil’s opening Good Company Solution Center in August 2013. The center is a consultation service that aims to advise clients on CSR.

"In the past, our clients wanted us to position them as ‘luxurious’, ‘cool’ and ‘state-of-the-art’ companies. But nowadays, the number one request we receive from our clients is how to position as ‘good’ companies. Many companies indeed execute CSR campaigns but few of them are remembered, and even worse, some of them backfire. Cheil Worldwide is ready to advise these companies to find out the right solution reflecting each company’s characteristics. Our consulting will be beyond simple donation or one-off volunteering," Jeong-keun Yoo, executive vice president of Cheil Worldwide, said in a statement
