MALAYSIA – December 24, 2013 – Cheil Worldwide officially opened its new operation in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on December 23. The expansion increases the South Korea-headquartered advertising company’s global footprint to 41 offices across 35 countries, Cheil Worldwide said in a press release.
Tasked to develop new businesses and provide quality-services, Cheil Malaysia is a full-service agency with more than 20 talents on board driving a through-the-line approach to creative solutions that Cheil is famous for. It currently has clients such as Samsung Malaysia, AIG Malaysia and Hankook Tire.
Commenting on the launch, Bong Keun Lee, Managing Director of Cheil Malaysia, said, “It has taken a few tough months to put things together, but we have made significant hires in digital, retail and experienced-based marketing. All these resources will be able to compliment the traditional agency offering of ATL and BTL, in order to ensure that we provide the integrated creative solutions-based communications that Malaysian marketers are increasingly asking for.”

The launch of Cheil Malaysia follows the recent expansion of the company with opening offices in Romania and Sweden.
