Justin Mowday, CEO DDB New Zealand, said that this recruitment of digital heavyweights reflected the core importance of digital. He added that Michiel is a digital native who boasted a wealth of experience and that Jack was an intuitive social planner, and as such they would be key additions to DDB’s digital team, which was already composed of some of the country’s top digital creatives and strategists.

Lucinda Sherborne, Head of Planning DDB New Zealand, said that Michiel’s true power lay in how he translated classic planning skills into the digital space, helping make it considerably more human and creative.
