THE PHILIPPINES,  NOVEMBER 25, 2011: 3D Vizion has officially launched the latest technology in three-dimensional video display, minus its age-old appendage – 3D glasses. The young Filipino company has made the technology available for advertisers in the Philippines as part of its ultimate goal of providing a one-of-a-kind luxury advertising experience for brands and potential customers alike.

“Let’s face it. 2D screens are merely tolerated but 3D can make you stop in your tracks and watch,” shared Katrina Bantug CEO & President of 3D Vizion. This rings true for the company’s first handful of clients in the Philippines, namely BlackBerry, Metrobank Cards, and Ensogo among others. With their installations situated in Glorietta Malls, Greenbelt and Alabang Town Center, these brands have been able to cause foot traffic jams as mallgoers reveled in the impressive projections.

The glasses-free technology also makes the entire 3D experience more available to a wider range of viewers.  3D Vizion claims that their 3D screens have the potential to be 10 times more effective than the usual analog displays that currently populate advertising spots in the country. Citing an Eastman Kodak study, the company also stated that displays using glasses-free 3D displays experienced a sales increase of up to 12%, and even increased store traffic by 34%. “By eliminating the need for glasses, we are able to sell and push those products out of the shelf through total brand recall,” explains Bantug.

To help advertisers take their first steps into the glasses-free future, 3D Vizion offers end-to-end services that cover installation of screens, as well as content production and distribution with the use of a unique proprietary tool. It will also provide instant data through actual audience measurement tool called 3D Genie. This will identify the number of eyeballs looking, whether they’re male or female, or even cough up data on their age.

3D Vizion Director of Content Delivery and Technology Ed Travis also proudly noted that all technologies employed in their business are results of sheer filipino ingenuity. “We’ve got such great talents in the country, and thanks to the collective team effort, we were able to produce something that’s really world-class,” said Travis.

While founded in Manila, 3D Vizion also has affiliate offices in London and Dubai. The company can also project images ranging from 24 to 42 inches, but is well on its way to super-sizing their offers with a video wall project that is currently in the works.
