SYDNEY – December 3, 2013 – Exponential Interactive, the global provider of advertising intelligence and digital media solutions, today announced the appointment of Sam Moles as Sales Director for New South Wales and Queensland. Moles will be responsible for maximising media revenues from key advertisers and agencies across the two states across all four exponential divisions – in-stream video specialist AdoTube, mobile engagement provider Appsnack, display video platform Firefly Video and performance display division Tribal Fusion, Exponential Interactive said in a press release.
Reporting to Exponential’s Australian Country Manager Ben Maudsley, Moles is a highly experienced digital executive who has worked with some of Australia’s leading brands and agencies and was named Media I QLD digital sales person of the year in 2011.
“Our best in market advanced audience targeting and optimization solutions have driven exceptional growth and Sam will be instrumental in managing and driving future growth and development across display, video and mobile” said Ben Maudsley, Exponential Country Manger, Australia. He added, “Sam has impeccable credentials and relationships within the digital media industry and will add the requisite expertise and strength to take our sales activities to the next level.”
He joins from The Walt Disney Company where, as Digital Sales Manager, he was responsible for its digital online sales strategy and the development and roll-out of new products and solutions. He was previously a senior sales manager at Adconion Media Group and account manger at AD2ONE responsible for key agency relationships. Sam began his career as a sales executive at Mitchel and Partners Media Agency and News Digital Media and has a Business degree from the University of Technology, Sydney.
Sam Moles, Exponential’s Sales Director NSW & QLD, said, “Exponential has one of the largest premium publisher digital media footprint, the best contextualisation engine in the business and exceptional talent to interpret and provide insights to the data. I’m looking forward to expanding the adoption of its proprietary technologies and solutions to more and more brands to drive revenue and help marketers better achieve their objectives.”
The appointment of Moles follows Exponential’s announcement in October that Australia’s Country Manger, Ben Maudsley, will assume expanded responsibilities across Australia, New Zealand and South Africa as a result of the promotion of Melbourne based John McKoy from his regional Managing Director of APAC role to global Chief Revenue Officer.
Moles will be based in Exponential’s Sydney office.
