MANILA – December 18, 2013 – Thirteen Filipino YouTube singers from several different countries have come together to sing for the survivors of Typhoon Yolanda.

Belting out the staple inspirational song, The Prayer, the YouTube artists did the regular drill, that is, singing in front of their webcams or cameras. This time though, the footage was put together in a video collage by viral marketing company GRNMNGO, creating a unique tribute with a distinctly homemade feel.

Apart from raising global awareness on the devastation caused by Typhoon Yolanda, the video also aims to encourage people to donate to Red Cross relief efforts.

The artists featured in the video include Zendee ‘Random Girl’ Tenerefe, Joyce Jimenez, Mica Javier, and Aldrich Lloyd Talonding from the Philippines; Bryson Andres, Marvin Calderon Jr., and Jett Hermano from the United States; singing duo Ashley & Amanda and Ryan Narciso from Canada; Mark ‘Kram’ Agpas from Austria; Cezka Mariz from Australia; and Marielle ‘Yele’ Castro from Dubai.

The video, which was published on December 17, already counts 8,447 views, and 336 likes.
