MANILA – October 23, 2013 – Globe Telecom won four major accolades at the 10th Annual International Business Awards (IBA), widely known as the Stevie Awards. The recently-concluded gala banquet was held at the W Hotel in Barcelona.
Globe bested 3,300 nominations from over 50 countries, receiving two Gold Awards, a Silver Award, and a Bronze.
Globe’s GCASH American Express Virtual Pay launch campaign for easy and secure online shopping bagged the Gold for New Product or Service Introduction of the Year, while Tattoo Broadband’s Marked for Greatness drive won a Gold for Marketing Campaign of the Year for Telecommunications through Harrison Communications, Inc.
Globe also bagged a Silver Stevie for Best Public Relations Event for the annual Tatts Awards, which recognizes individuals and groups who use social media to make positive change in their community.
The Globe My Fair Share Program was also awarded a Bronze Stevie for Corporate Social Responsibility Program of the Year in Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. The program empowers the communities being aided by Globe through livelihood opportunities and market access.
