PHILIPPINES, NOVEMBER 21, 2011: Globe Business has launched an online quiz that will help entrepreneurs identify their leadership style by rating their similarities with the world’s most iconic figures. With choices ranging from the ultimate conqueror Napoleon Bonaparte, to infamous Queen Cleopatra – down to National Hero Jose Rizal, this fun take on leadership seems to be a fitting attempt at appealing to local business leaders and potential customers.

To take the quiz, “soul-searching” entrepreneurs will have to log on to business.globe.com.ph/leader and answer a seven-item quiz. Their answers will determine whether one is an authoritarian, intolerant of incompetence, intimidating, or inspiring as a leader.

Says Globe’s Head of Corporate and SME Segments Manny Aligada of their online campaign: “There are no right or wrong answers to the Globe Business Leader Quiz. The results merely show what particular qualities a business leader has. The quiz results then suggest how the business leader should tone down certain qualities and nurture others, in order to maximize leadership abilities.”

In line with this, Globe Business pitches a range of customized products and services that may be mixed and matched according to ones’ leadership style. “For example, an entrepreneur who functions best when mobile and conducting business away from the office might feel cranky when boxed inside office promises. Or an entrepreneur might have tons of charisma that leaves employees spellbound – but he or she might not be used to communication ideas and instructions,” explains Aligada.

While the icons used for the quiz are world-renowned and have carved their names into the pages of history, Globe Business also reiterates that its services are anything but. In fact, Globe Business solutions have been designed to help simplify business operations, Manage communication costs, and serve clients efficiently – even for the upstart small and medium-scale entrepreneurs (SMEs). An accompanying ad was also launched. Produced by Harrison Communications, the ad showcased leaders from the neuronic to the psychotic, to the eerily well-cast Jose Rizal.
