ASIA-PACIFIC, SEPTEMBER 10, 2012 – Integrated marketing communications company Grey Group and shopper marketing agency GreyDPI, a Grey Group company, closed a sweet deal with the win of two new regional accounts: Ferrero Rocher and Kinder Bueno.

This win will see Grey Group and Grey DPI overseeing through-the-line initiatives which covers advertising, brand activation, point- of-sale marketing (POSM), promotions and digital for the two confectionary brands across five Southeast Asia markets: Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and Philippines.

Ferrero and Grey Group already have established partnerships in the region; Grey manages creative duties for Ferrero in India while Grey DPI handles all shopper marketing initiatives in Hong Kong.

“Southeast Asia is an important region for us as it is real opportunity for the company as a huge engine of growth in our business development in Asia,” explained Leonardo Perrone de Almeida, marketing director of Ferrero SEA.

Commenting on the account win, he said: “We are confident that we have handed over our Southeast Asia business for two key brands in the capable and experienced hands of professional brand strategists.”

Meanwhile, on the agency side, Chairman and CEO of Grey Group Asia Pacific Nirvik Singh said: “This is a significant win for Grey Group on two points: we continue to further entrench our cross-functional offerings across the region and it underscores our capabilities as a full service agency to deliver famously effective ideas across channels.

“Leveraging the power of our regional markets expertise and domain knowledge as a leading provider of 360 branding solutions, we are committed to delivering substantial value for our clients – to help grow market share and revenue,” added Singh.

The account will be held by Grey Group for a 24-month period starting September 2012.
