MANILA, APRIL 4, 2013 – Ambient advertising has gone through a tremendous development in a little over a decade. 3D mapping has been around for quite a while but its effects are always tremendous.

When the Philippines’ newest and hottest destination Solaire Resort & Casino was launched on March 16, 2013, guests were treated to a spectacular 3D mapping projection on the building’s façade. An effective story-telling and advertising tool, the presentation, created by Grupo Lumina and led by president Mart Miranda, captured the essence of what Solaire is – a regal, prestigious and spectacular casino and resort. From the music to the well-executed images, the 3D projection garnered media publicity, hundreds of onlookers and good organic publicity.

The budget for the extravagant launch cost about $1 million dollars, according to Solaire chief operating officer Michael French who disclosed the budget during the media briefing three days before the launch.
