ASIA-PACIFIC – October 14, 2013 – A gawky web designer from England looks for love in Los Angeles in the new HBO original comedy, Hello Ladies, set to premiere in Asia on October 21.
The series stars English comedian Stephen Merchant, who is known for his work as co-writer and co-director of the British sitcom, The Office. Merchant will be in front of the cameras this time as Stuart, the Englishman pursuing romance in the city of angels.
Joining Merchant are Christine Woods as Jessica, a struggling actress with an on-and-off romance with her agent; Nate Torrence as Wade, Stuart’s best friend who reluctantly starts dating again after separating from his wife; and Kevin Weisman as Kives, a wheelchair-bound Casanova who uses his disability to charm women.
The series runs for half an hour, and will premiere on October 21, 9:30 p.m., and HBO and HBO HD. Brand new episodes will air weekly at the same time.
