PARIS – October 23, 2013 – Supporting the launch of a new cosmetic range for L’Oréal Paris, independent design studio Hellohikimori has created an animated full 3D film, conceived as a pop-up book.
The new cosmetic range called Beauty Secrets will be sold online at eboutique.loreal-paris.fr, Hellohikimori said in a press release.
The 3D film features five skits set in a fantastical world created by Hellohikimori. Inspired by the different product characteristics made for girls aged 15 and 30 years old, the skits are “HaleÌe”, “Poudre frivole”, “Double jeu”, “LeÌ€vres aÌ€ croquer” and “Coup de bluff”.
Hellohikimori described the animation as fun, colorful, cheerful and retro. The studio previously created “La folie des vernis Color Riche” for L’OreÌal Paris. Launched in July 2012, the campaign received around 2.4 million visits.
