ASIA-PACIFIC – SHANGHAI, CHINA, JANUARY 13, 2012: AKQA has lured a senior BBDO Proximity China executive, David Hunt, who joins its Shanghai shop as general manager. Hunt will be responsible for expanding the group’s regional client portfolio, following numerous recent appointments. He will report directly to Stuart Sproule, managing director of the San Francisco and Shanghai branches.
Hunt, until recently the managing director responsible for integration of digital and marketing services at BBDO Proximity, brings over 20 years of international marketing and brand experience. He also previously worked as managing director at TBWA\TEQUILA China and Integer China. His client experience ranges from Carrefour, Coca-Cola, Levi’s, Procter & Gamble, Volkswagen and Unilever among others.
