MANILA – December 16, 2013 – Following adobo magazine’s launch of its Yolanda relief campaign GenerosiTee on December 12, industry leaders act as ambassadors in promoting the movement by demonstrating how the shirt can be used as a relief bag.
Among the ambassadors were JR Ramos, joint CEO of Publicis JimenezBasic, BBDO Guerrero chief creative officer David Guerrero, Sid Maderazo of 88Storey Films, TV host Rovilson Fernandez, TV, film, and commercials director Paul Soriano, DM9JaymeSyfu chair/ chief creative officer Merlee Jayme, Ompong Remigio, ECD of Campaigns & Grey, Kean Cipriano of Calla Lily and Tutti Caringal of 6Cyclemind.
In the video demo, the ambassadors demonstrated the step-by-step instructions on packing the relief items recommended by the Department of Social Welfare and Development.
Moreover, the ambassadors shared their thoughts on how can this project help the victims of calamities in a creative way.
Commenting on the project, Ramos said, "GenerosiTee is a very interesting idea. It’s environment friendly… It’s one of the creative ways in which we can help our brothers and sisters down in the southern Philippines. Help them out. This t-shirt can save lives and this t-shirt can really make a difference."
Soriano, on the other hand, invites everyone from the industry to "support adobo GenerosiTee… it’s a pretty cool project and really creative idea on how we can create awareness and help those in need especially the victims of Typhoon Yolanda.
