ASIA-PACIFIC – SINGAPORE, SEPTEMBER 12, 2012 – Internationally acclaimed comedian Papa CJ will make an appearance at Spikes Asia Festival of Creativity 2012. Grey Group’s CEO and chairman Nirvik Singh will engage Papa CJ in an interactive and lively discussion to unravel the parallels between the worlds of advertising and stand-up comedy.
They will discuss what most fail to realize: that these two worlds share in the use of humour to engage an increasingly perceptive audience and the creative process needed to constantly deliver fresh content on a global stage.
Papa CJ, an Oxford graduate who left a consultancy career at IBM London, will talk about how he made a name and how he survives in a notoriously competitive industry. He has done over 1000 shows, including appearances on various television shows in Comedy Central, Paramount, BBC, NBC and MTV among others.
Papa CJ will be the third Spikes Personality for “Eye on Global Asians”, the Grey Group’s annual session at Spikes Asia, which features creative global Asians who share their journeys to international recognition.
