ASIA-PACIFIC – SHANGHAI, CHINA, MARCH 8, 2012: JWT Shanghai has promoted Eric Lee from general manager to managing director.

Lee first joined JWT Shanghai in July 2010 where his responsibilities include key client contact and management. During his tenure last year, the agency was named Agency of the Year for greater China.

Prior to JWT Shanghai, Lee spent 12 years with Leo Burnett Shanghai and Hong Kong, where he handled a range of international and domestic clients, and two years with Euro RSCG Hong Kong as group brand director.

Lee has a strong background in brand development, and in working with interactive and CRM teams to deliver results across multiple channels beyond traditional advertising.

Over the last two years, he has applied his expertise on cross-platform communication to help transform JWT Shanghai into an engagement-driven brand management agency.

“Eric’s passion for powerful, insight-driven product, not to mention his fierce commitment to our clients’ business, is in a league by itself,” said Tom Doctoroff, JWT’s North Asia area director and Greater China CEO. “This promotion formalizes much of what he already does, yet puts him in a position where he can leverage his strong skill set even more.”
