MANILA, MAY 29, 2013 – Almost reaching 300,000 views and liked by more than 4,000 viewers within a span of a week, Oishi’s remake of Kaleidoscope World was  received with much warmth and tenderness akin to the original music video performed by the late Francis Magalona.

Recently published as ‘Kaleidoscope World Forever More’ in Youtube, the video shows Elmo Magalona seemingly having a duet with his father. Various supporters have expressed their affection and nostalgia upon seeing the father and son sing together even if it’s only on an edited video.

The year was 1995 when the music video, Kaleidoscope World was brought to life by celebrated Filipino rapper, the Master Rapper, Francis Durango “Kiko” Magalona or better known as FrancisM to the local music industry. The song was originally performed by Kiko and his band, Hardware Syndrome. It was part of the album "Freeman" that featured songs like “Three Stars and a Sun” and “Kabataan Para Sa Kinabukasan” which cemented his presence in the Pinoy Rock scene. The song has garnered several awards such as the 1996 Awit Award for Best Produced Record of the Year and has become one of the most famous songs throughout the Philippines.

Re-crafted by Underground Logic, what makes the second version well-loved by its viewers is that it is eerily reminiscent of the original, the difference being Elmo’s carefully edited image ingrained to the video as if he was really singing and dancing with his father.
