GLOBAL – NEW YORK, NY, JANUARY 5, 2012: Ogilvy & Mather promoted Lauren Crampsie, 31, to Worldwide Chief Marketing Officer for Ogilvy & Mather’s global operations, replacing Eleanor Mascheroni who has left the agency to join a company in Detroit.
“Lauren is someone with phenomenal energy and great skills. She’ll be a tremendous spokesperson for the vigor of our brand in the new landscape of communications," Miles Young, Worldwide CEO of Ogilvy & Mather said.
Crampsie will be responsible for Ogilvy’s global communication initiatives, partnering with the agency’s leadership around the world. She will continue to lead Ogilvy’s Business Development function in North America. Ogilvy & Mather North America won brands such as IKEA, Gap, Tabasco under her leadership.
In 2004, Crampsie joined Ogilvy and quickly rose through the ranks becoming the agency’s youngest New Business Director in 2008. She was appointed Chief Marketing Officer, North America in May 2010 and was recently named by Advertising Age Magazine as a “Woman to Watch.”
