KUALA LUMPUR – January 23, 2014 – After three months of rigorous creative agency evaluation process, Lowe Malaysia (Lowe) landed the position as Telekom Malaysia Berhad’s (TM) lead agency to spearhead business and brand growth for the latter’s Mass Market Consumer and SME businesses portfolios.
The pitch process saw Lowe contending against four other agencies during which all of them underwent a rigorous three-stage real life simulation stress test, Lowe Malaysia said in a press release.
Commenting on the achievement, Mazuin Zin, Managing Director, Lowe, shared, “With the award of the mandate, the Company is proud to share that Lowe has demonstrated the business acumen, strategic tenacity and ability to think creative business solutions beyond campaigns, throughout the agency evaluation process; qualities which TM was looking for in a strategic partner for its next stage of business and brand growth.”
“Today, broadband has become our constant companion, something we can’t imagine our lives without anymore. TM, through its flagship brands in UniFi and Streamyx has been playing this role of a trusted broadband service provider helping us make our lives easier, engaging, entertaining and enriching, both at home and work. We at Lowe are delighted to be chosen by the National Broadband Champion on their journey of ushering a broadband-led revolution across Malaysia,” said Sailesh Wadhwa, Strategy Planning Director, Lowe.
Lowe will drive the creative communication integration through-the-line, working with TM’s other agency partners in the whole ecosystem.
