McCann boosts digital team for Cathay Pacific

ASIA-PACIFIC – HONG KONG, September 12, 2013 – McCann Hong Kong has appointed two senior hires to boost their digital team for Cathay Pacific. 
 
Brandon Cheung (right) will be joining the management team as director for digital strategy. He is backed by his expertise in digital marketing and user experience design, gained from his work for brands such as Peninsula Hotels, McDonalds, Volkswagen, Coca-Cola, Adidas, and Tourism Australia. Prior to joining the McCann team, he was strategic planning director at Tribal DDB in Hong Kong and Isobar.
 
Cheung shared, "I’m really excited to join the Cathay Pacific Central Team. As a frequent flyer I’ve always had a passion for the Cathay Pacific and Asia Miles brands and business operations.  Naturally, I also have a curiosity for how to make the customer experience even better with the help of technology, social media, and data intelligence." 
 
Christopher Howard will be taking over the management of all paid digital media requirements for Cathay Pacific globally. He is joining the team from Universal McCann, Los Angeles, and has managed digital media for clients such as Toyota, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment and Television and Sony Electronics.
