MANILA – January 13, 2014 – The new Mountain Dew print ads by BBDO Guerrero may not say much, but they pack quite the punch, showing a view of the urban jungle in a rarely-seen light.

From afar, the ads look calm–like haloes of light, or a silver sun. A closer look shows that the ads are more action-packed: men on various sets of wheels having their way with a full-pipe. Behind them, city skylines and streets are shown in a full-360.

The visually-stimulating ads carry on the extreme, breakneck tone that typifies Mountain Dew’s campaigns. As BBDO ECD Dale Lopez shared, the ad was about showing how the product can "bring out the exhilaration anywhere."

"The idea shows how Mountain Dew can make your world an extreme playground. We decided to use the full-pipe structure because it’s one of the most difficult platforms in extreme sports," he said.

The ads were placed in convenience store outlets as posters.
