MANILA – November 29, 2013 – Students from the multimedia arts program of De La Salle-College of St. Benilde are having a group show on December 2 to 3 at Black Market Manila in Makati.

Entitled Prologue: A Multimedia Graduate Show, the exhibit will feature multimedia artwork and installations based on the students’ college experience.

The works are meant “to inspire those who are still running for that deadline, those who have capped their college years, and those who find nostalgia in their alma mater,” the students said in a press release.

The show will feature 19 artists: Gennina Balana, Sheena Bañares, Nicole Bonsol, Jan Vincent Chug, Cheri De Los Reyes, James Deocariza, Martin Diegor, Kevin Garcia, Melissa Gatchalian, Tyron Lucido, Tin Manuel, Dempson Mayuga, Mike Ngking, Bien Operaña, Ysabelle Prats, Michael Soriano, Al Chris Varquez, Janeil Vino, and Carlo Yu.

“The exhibit aims to poke fun at concepts that reference collegiate life, including experiences in cramming, friendships, and nightmare professors, and also to shed light on the realities of post-graduation scares such as job-hunting, quarter-life crisis, and going after your true ambitions,” they said.
