Murdered ad exec Kae Davantes’ missing car found in Las Piñas

MANILA, September 16, 2013 – The missing car of murdered advertising executive Kristel "Kae" Davantes was found in Las Piñas City on Sunday morning, Interior Secretary Mar Roxas said.

 
"Philippine National Police-Public Information Office have informed relatives to assure na hindi nakakalimutan si Kae," Roxas said on his Twitter account. 
 
Roxas said Davantes’ Toyota Altis was discovered at Camella 4, Pamplona 3, Las Piñas City. Scene of the Crime Operatives processed the vehicle, while relatives identified personal items found inside the car, Roxas also said. 
 
The vehicle was found after residents reported a car alarm blaring continuously, GMA News Online quoted Las Piñas City police chief Senior Superintendent Adolfo Samala.
 
PNP Criminal Investigation and Detection Group Police Senior Superintendent Robert Fajardo also told GMA News Online that used clothing was found apparently doused with gasoline. 
 
President Benigno Aquino III had ordered Metro Manila police to solve the killing as soon as possible. The Advertising Board of the Philippines earlier called on the president as well as justice secretary Leila De Lima to bring the case to justice
 
PNP urged those with important information regarding the case to contact the Special Investigation Task Group Kae at mobile hotlines 0919-5375799 and 0916-4381170. 
 
Davantes, 25, was a senior account manager at McCann Worldgroup Philippines’ MRM.  She was found dead in Silang, Cavite on September 7, a day after she went missing.
