OMD International appoints Director of Platform Strategy

ASIA-PACIFIC – SINGAPORE, NOVEMBER 2011: In keeping with the rapid growth of OMD International – OMD’s specialist unit that manages multi-national client assignments – Jonathan Mackenzie has been appointed as Director of Platform Strategy. Based in Singapore, Mackenzie will be instrumental in shaping the development of digital strategy across OMD international clients and the agency as a whole.   
 
Mackenzie relocates to Singapore from Omnicom Media Group, Ireland, where he was responsible for establishing the digital media department. There he developed a digital offering that encompassed display, search, mobile, social media and analytics. Supported by a fantastic team, Mackenzie led digital initiatives of over 40 clients including Vodafone, Renault, Sony Playstation, among many others. 
 
Working closely with IAB and other industry bodies, Mackenzie invested in the promotion of digital channels, broadening understanding and experience throughout the agency and industry in Ireland.  Mackenzie began his digital career over a decade ago working with two of the UK’s leading specialist digital agencies, Profero and i-level and his experience covers all aspects of digital marketing ranging from display advertising, search, affiliate marketing, social media and in-game advertising.
