THE PHILIPPINES, JULY 19, 2012: Last year was a great one for OMD Philippines as they landed on the top of R3’s New Business League Tables. And in order to fuel the strong momentum, the agency placed one of its power women in the forefront, naming former business unit director Meryl Francesca Yap as the company’s new client service director.

Yap, who joined the company in March 2007, is now expected to supervise all the activities of OMD’s different client service units and as a process champion, escalate the level of servicing the agency offers to its rich pool of clients.

Our goal is to continue to top our performance in the years to come and looking at the energy and enthusiasm of the team, I know that it is within reach. I am excited by the opportunities that the new role has entrusted me with and looking forward to a new challenge; Yap said. Meryl’s enthusiasm and strong commitment to the team are vital in driving OMD’s business growth and in motivating our people to give the best quality of service to our valued clients,” OMD Philippines general manager Carla Cifra said.
