MANILA – December 5, 2013 – With 20 confirmed photographers, a fundraising exhibit for survivors of Super Typhoon Yolanda is now open for further contributions.

The date has also been set for December 14, according to Manila-based photographer Peter O’Driscoll, who is organizing the event.

The event will be hosted by Carlos Celdran and Jun Sabayton, and will be at the 1335 Mabini Gallery in Malate.

Photographers from the Philippines and abroad will be selling some of their work at the event, with the proceeds going to the ongoing relief efforts.

All proceeds from the final sale of the work will go to a selection of charities that are covering the region. "The response so far has been fantastic and will quite possibly be the biggest collective of Filipino and foreign photographers ever assembled together: all with the same passion for this country; and all focused on using the power of their photographic images to help those currently in need," Driscoll said in a previous article.

The preview and drinks will be at 5.00 p.m., to be followed by the auction at 7 to 7.30 p.m..

Participating photographers include Alex Baluyut, Rick Rocamora, Marissa Roth, Iver Aldas, Carlo Gabuco, John Javellana, Andy Maluche, Peter O’Driscoll, Minda Monica Ponce-Enriquez, Carsten Stormer, Andri Tambunan, Jake Versoza, Veejay Villafranca, Tsi Wang, and Pierre Wayser.
