THE PHILIPPINES, DECEMBER 30, 2011: Hate late? Then better be on time for 2012.

As part of Pizza Hut’s long-running campaign "Hate Late," Pizza Hut together with BBDO Guerrero came up with an integrated campaign to advocate for every Filipino’s punctuality starting 2012 which will kick off on December 30, 2011 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum for a practice countdown for the New Year. Miss Universe 2010 fourth runner up Venus Raj and Miss Universe 2011 third runner up Shamcey Supsup will be gracing and leading the practice countdown.

Pizza Hut has also started spreading the campaign by setting up a "tweeting clock" https://twitter.com/imtherealphtime that encourages followers to sync their own time with the Philippine Standard Time.

This latest campaign is in conjunction with the Department of Science and Technology and Discover Channel’s "Juan Time" campaign launched in September 30, 2011, which aimed for a unified time for every Filipino.

?There always seems to be a 20 minute window for New Year celebrations. So we thought it would be good if we can all agree to start 2012 on time. After all, if you?re late at the start of the year, what?s going to happen during the rest of it? It?s also an ideal occasion to remind people of Pizza Hut?s punctuality. And what better New Year?s resolution than to start the year on time," said David Guerrero, Chairman and CCO of BBDO Guerrero.
