MANILA – October 9, 2013 – Filipino fans of Heroes might want to tune in to the new series The Tomorrow People, a sci-fi series about a student who begins to question his sanity when he starts hearing voices only to find out that he is part of a genetically advanced race called the Tomorrow People.
Armed with the abilities of telekinesis, teleportation, and telepathic communication, the Tomorrow People live in hiding from a paramilitary group who are threatened by their race.
Starring Robbie Amell, Luke Mitchell, Peyton List, Aaron Yoo, and Mark Pellegrino, The Tomorrow People will premiere on JackTV on October 12 at 8 p.m.
JackTV is also set to premiere the new seasons of two other shows, Arrow and Revolution.
Set in post-apocalyptic America, Revolution is a story about survivors who are struggling to rebuild society after a mysterious worldwide blackout. The second season, which premieres with a two-hour episode on October 12 at 9 p.m., shows the consequences of the previous season’s finale which saw the survivors turning the power on for four minutes.
Inspired by the DC Comic superhero, Arrow tells the story of billionaire Oliver Queen, a vigilante fighting to get back the rule of his city. Premiering on October 13 at 8 p.m., the second season of the series opens with Oliver’s allies searching for him in the wake of his best friend’s death.
