Spikes Asia Creative Academy trains tomorrow’s leaders

ASIA-PACIFIC – SEOUL, SEPTEMBER 12, 2013 – Young advertising talents will learn from renowned industry figures at the Spikes Asia Creative Academy, through exclusive lectures and master classes.
 
Run by Cheil Worldwide and Spikes Asia, the Academy is a unique learning opportunity for a select group of students from Asia Pacific. 
 
During a three-day program, students will acquire first-hand insight into the creative advertising and communications industry.
 
"In the advertising industry, talent is the best asset, so I am excited and committed to continuing this Creative Academy program," said Daiki Lim, President and CEO of Cheil Worldwide, which has sponsored Spike Academy over the past five years. 
 
For his part, Steve Latham, Director of Talent and Training for Spikes Asia, described the Creative Academy as "an outstanding learning platform and a truly unmissable opportunity."
 
"Spikes Asia is very much committed to cultivating young talent by improving their knowledge and skills that will help them in their future careers," Latham said.
 
The students will learn from Noor Azhar, who has tutored the Academy since it was established in 2009.
 
Noor is a Senior Lecturer in Visual Communication and Media Design at the Singapore Polytechnic Design School. Noor practiced advertising as an art director at CreAds Advertising and Batey Ads. Noor also set up integrated brand communications agency Just Media (now JM Asia).
