THE PHILIPPINES, JULY 17, 2012: Ever got in trouble because of slow internet connection? Take "The Other Woman", Sun Cellular’s latest TV spot created by Neuron/Campaigns & Grey which shows what could happen when unreliable connection gets in your way.

The 30-second campaign depicts a housewife chancing upon a photo of her husband with a mystery blonde woman planting a kiss on his cheek while browsing photos on a social media site. Before the photo loads completely to reveal who the mystery woman is, the wife goes ballistic and is seen flying and bursting through walls and landing a powerful kick on her husband’s chest.

Before the wife gets to land another powerful blow, their daughter appears asking if she liked her just-dyed blonde hair. The realization dawns that the ‘other woman’ in the photograph is actually  the couple’s own daughter and the misunderstanding arose due to slow  internet connection.

Launched in June 2012, the tongue-in-cheek spot played with humor aims to increase brand recall amongst the target audience and communicate the message that Sun Broadband  Wireless now provides an excellent Internet surfing experience even better than before.

“The storyline delivered was rooted in relatable situations depicting scorned women and experimental teenagers in a humorous setting. In an increasingly wired world, miscommunications in the digital space can be avoided with a consistent, fast and reliable Internet connection that gives users timely information and a more enjoyable surfing experience," explains Jun Ureta, Creative Director of Neuron/Campaigns & Grey.
