WPP Grey New York welcomes Michael Houston as new CEO

GLOBAL – UNITED STATES, JULY 8, 2013 – Michael Houston has been promoted as the chief executive officer of the North American division of WPP-ownedGrey.

The 41-year old executive has been working at Grey since 2007from being global chief marketing officer to managing director.Recently, he served as CEO of the agency’s New York office. Houston, with the help of president and chief creative officer Tor Myhren, was accountablr for the impressive comeback of the New York office by expanding the agency. Under his leadership, more offices in American cities were openedand digital services were offered.

In his new role as CEO, Houston will be responsible in maneuvering a shop where marketers can park their ad accounts. Houston will report directly to Heekin and continue to work withMyhren.
