SHANGHAI – October 11, 2013 – Charles Sampson, Y&R Greater China CEO, has announced the appointment of Joy Lu as Brand Team Leader, Y&R Shanghai.
Lu brings with her over 17 years of brand experience gained in both Taiwan and China.
“We welcome Joy to Y&R as her invaluable experience across many major accounts makes her an ideal addition to our network’s growth in China,” commented Charles Sampson, CEO Y&R Greater China.
Lu has led several brand campaigns that were considered best practice and which were awarded Effie Awards between 2005 and 2011.
Lu’s new role as Brand Team Leader extends beyond across-the-board campaigns as she exercises her strong belief in the spirit of teamwork and encourages her team to be trustworthy partners to their brands and businesses.
She has responsibility for the Danone portfolio of brands including Mizone sports water.
“As well as being one of Y&R’s biggest clients globally, Danone is the parent brand behind our award-winning and highly effective Mizone ‘Tilted Man’ campaign. We look forward to more creative effectiveness under Joy’s leadership of the brand team in Shanghai,” Sampson said.
Lu’s MNC experience spans many categories including Nokia, Singapore Airlines, Coca Cola, Kraft, Shell, from her time at major agencies including Ogilvy, JWT and Wunderman.
