‘Request sa Radyo’ welcomes back Lea Salonga and Dolly De Leon to the Philippine stage

MANILA, PHILIPPINES — Request sa Radyo (Wunschkonzert/Request Program), a play by Franz Xaver Kroetz, is a masterpiece of modern theatre, transforming the mundane into the extraordinary through silence and leaving the audience contemplating the depths of solitude. For its Philippine debut, the unique theatrical experience features two of the Philippines’ most celebrated actors in alternating performances. 

Presented by Ayala Land, GMG Productions, John B. Echauz and Joanna Silayan-Echauz, Bobby Garcia and Clint Ramos, and with BPI as the official bank partner, the play is the coming together of some of the country’s bests. All multi-awarded and all-considered sources of Philippine pride, this project delves into their vision and dedication to bringing the powerful and compelling narrative to the Philippine audience. 

The strictly limited engagement with 20 performances will begin on October 10 until October 20 at the Samsung Performing Arts Theatre in Makati, Philippines. Lea Salonga and Dolly De Leon will perform the solo piece in scheduled alternating performances. The following are the cast schedules: 

Tickets for Request sa Radyo will be available for pre-sale starting July 29 to 30 exclusively for BPI credit card holders and from July 31 to August 01 for First Access registered accounts via the play’s official website, with general sales opening to the public on August 02.
