AD STARS 2010: DDB China’s Michael Dee makes the case for sharing

ASIA-PACIFIC, SOUTH KOREA, AUGUST 2010 – "Is there a value to share?" Michael Dee, Chief Creative Office of DDB China Group in Shanghai, will answer this question at the DDB seminar at the AD STARS Busan International Advertising Festival on Friday, August 27, 2010, 11 AM. The agency makes its thesis clear from the get-go: in a world where everybody is a creator and a Creative Director, sharing makes perfect sense. How this translates to effective advertising could make this one of the more interesting seminars of AD STARS, which takes place from August 26 to 28 in the seaside city of Busan, South Korea.

Dee is credited for developing the award-winning Gatorade TVC for the 2008 Beijing Olympics. He is also the brains behind the Effie Award-winning McDonald’s integrated "Cheer for China" campaign, which was name one of the most contagious viral campaigns of the year by Contagious magazine. His work has been honored at prestigious international award shows. Named “Most Outstanding Creative Person of the Year” by the Taiwanese government in 2006, Dee is also a teacher, lecturing at the Qinghua University EMBA.
