Awards: Reed Collins of Ogilvy APAC to lead the Direct Lions Jury at Cannes Lions 2021

MANILA, PHILIPPINES — Reed Collins, the Chief Creative Officer of Ogilvy Asia, is the Direct Lions’ Jury President for this year’s Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. With numerous awards bagged under his leadership, winning over 30 Cannes Lions throughout his career, Collins is no stranger to recognizing award-winning work. 

Under Collins, Ogilvy Hong Kong was crowned the #1 agency in Greater China at Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity for the last 3 years. He was also named Creative Person of the year in 2017 by Campaign Magazine and the most awarded creative in the world for his 2001 Fox Sports campaign according to the Gunn Report.
Collins has produced award-winning ideas across five continents. Originally from Australia Reed Collins has been based in Hong Kong for the last 8 years and is responsible for the creative output of all Ogilvy offices in the Asia-Pacific Region. As CCO for Ogilvy APAC, he oversees the region in creating work for Coca Cola, KFC, Altoids, Fox Sports, Ikea, Lego, Volkswagen, Nintendo, and Greenpeace.
As Jury President, Reed Collins and the Direct Lions’ jury members will be judging how insights and/or data were used as part of the strategy of the campaigns to engage specific target audience groups and develop customer relationship.
The Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity is the largest gathering in the creative marketing community. The five-day festival will run from 21-25 June 2021 and will be fully digital.
